There are several reasons you might want to move your account away from a school license, such as:
Changing jobs. You are moving to a different school or district.
Personal use. You want to manage your own Individual Subscription (Standard or Pro) independently.
Privacy. You want full control over your account data without school admin visibility.
IMPORTANT: Once you detach, you will lose access to the school plan's premium features unless you have your own paid plan. Your account will revert to the Basic (Free) version.
Steps to Detach Your Account
Log in to your account.
Click on your username (top-right) and select "My School".
Click on the "Detach" button.
A pop-up will appear asking for confirmation. Click "Yes" to completely remove your account from the school license.
Once detached, all activities you created will stay in your My Activities folder. If you have more than 3 activities, you can still play them, but you won't be able to edit them or create new ones until you upgrade to a Standard or Pro plan.
Pro-tip: If you plan on moving to an Individual Standard or Pro plan, it is best to detach first from the school plan before subscribing to your new plan.
