One of Wordwall's most powerful features is the ability to turn one set of questions into many different types of games. If you want to keep your original activity but save a separate copy in a new format, follow these steps:
Open your activity and look at the Switch Template menu on the right. Click on the new template you want to try (e.g., switching a Quiz to a Crossword).
Click the Edit Content button below the game. (note: If you don't see it immediately, click the More button first)
A pop-up will appear. Select the option Duplicate, then Edit as [New Template Name].
Rename the activity (e.g., "History Quiz - Crossword Version").
Adjust any items or clues to fit the new format if needed.
Click Done to save it.
Where is my new version?
The original activity will remain exactly as it was. Your new version will now appear as a separate file in your My Activities folder.
Note for Basic Plan Users: Please be aware that saving an activity to a new template counts as creating a new resource. If you have already reached your limit of 3 resources (including any deleted ones), you will not be able to duplicate or save activities in another template. To access this feature once the limit is reached, an upgrade to a Standard or Pro plan is required.
