The Balloon Pop template is a high-energy, arcade-style game where students must time their movements to match keywords with their correct definitions. It’s perfect for adding a bit of excitement to vocabulary drills or math practice.

How the activity is played
Imagine a train or a set of moving containers at the bottom of the screen, each labelled with a definition or category.
The Action: Balloons carry keywords across the top of the screen.
The Goal: The student must tap or click the balloon at the exact right moment so the keyword falls into the matching container below.
The Challenge: As the game progresses, the balloons move faster, and more distractors appear!
Scoring: Correct matches earn points. On the final screen, students can see their score, review their work, and join the Leader board.
Creating your Balloon Pop activity
Click Create Activity and choose Balloon Pop.

Add Your Content:
Keyword: This is the text or image that will travel inside the balloon.
Definition: This is the text or image that will appear on the moving containers at the bottom.
Click Add an item or press Enter to add more pairs.

Click Done to save your activity.

Scroll down to the Options panel below the game to adjust the difficulty:
TIMER: Set a strict time limit per level using the number adjusters. The level must be cleared before this countdown hits zero.
SPEED: Adjust the slider to determine how fast the balloons drift across the screen.
LEVELS: Choose how many levels the game has and how much the difficulty increases. The game will continuously scale up the challenge depending on the number of levels being set.

BONUSES: Tick the checkbox to decide what power-ups or reward tiles appear floating in the game.
Extra Time: When checked, floating bonus time will appear that award students extra seconds if popped.
Points: Pop-able point tiles will spawn to give students a direct score bump.
x2 Score: Multiplier power-ups will appear, temporarily doubling all score points earned while active.

Show answers: Allows students to review the correct keyword-and-definition match pairs at the conclusion of the activity.

SAVING YOUR OPTIONS
Apply to this activity: Saves these specific choices only for the activity you are currently editing.
Revert to default: This clears any custom changes you’ve made to the Options panel and returns the settings to your own previously saved personal defaults.
Revert to author's setting: This is particularly useful when you have bookmarked or copied an activity created by another teacher from the Community page.
Creating Balloon Pop with AI
