The True or False template is a fast-paced, high-energy way to test student knowledge. Unlike a static quiz, this activity keeps students on their toes as they make split-second decisions as statements stream across the screen.

How the activity is played
The game features individual statement panels that appear dynamically on the screen.
The interaction: Users must quickly read the streaming item statement and click or tap either the True or False button before the item card disappears or the round timer runs out.
The challenge: The core objective is to achieve the highest number of correct answers in the shortest amount of time, rewarding swift comprehension and accurate factual recall.
-
Completion: At the end of the session, the final screen displays the user's completion time and total accuracy percentage. From there, users can review their answers, enter their name on the leader board, or start the activity over again.
Creating your True or False activity
-
Click Create Activity on your dashboard and select True or False.
-
Add your content:
True Items: Type individual sentences, equations, or statements that are completely factually correct.
False Items: Type statements that are factually incorrect or contain misleading errors.
Image/Audio (Optional): Click the image icon inside any item row to add a picture, transforming the statement into a visual identification task.
Click Add an item or press Enter to build out additional question rows. The more items you provide, the more varied and engaging the game loop will be.
-
Click Done to save. Wordwall will compile your data fields and structure the dynamic card delivery system.Creating Your Activity

Scroll down to Visuals style to add a creative style to your activity, or tailor the difficulty in the Options panel below the activity:
- Timer
- None: Disables the overarching clock limit, letting the activity continue until all questions are completed or the student runs out of allocated lives.
- Count up: Displays an ascending stopwatch that tracks exactly how long the student takes to process and complete the entire deck list.
- Count down: Sets a strict, descending time limit to create a high-stakes challenge. In the screenshot, this is locked at 1 minute and 0 seconds.
- Speed
- Adjust the slider to determine how fast the statement panels move across the screen display. In the screenshot, this is set to level 5, which is the standard operational pace. You can slide it down for beginner readers or crank it up to create a lightning-fast reflex test.
- Lives
- Determine how many mistakes or incorrect button clicks a student can commit before facing an early Game Over screen. In the screenshot, this is set to Unlimited for a stress-free, mastery-based practice session.
- End of game
- Show answers: When checked, this allows students to review a full summary of which specific items they evaluated correctly or incorrectly on the summary screen after the game ends.
- Repetitions
- Use the dropdown menu to decide what happens if a student clears your statements faster than the timer. In the screenshot, this is set to Repeat questions until time runs out, which cycles back through your items continuously to keep the game fluidly moving.
- Saving options
