The Labelled Diagram template is one of the most effective tools for visual learning. It allows you to take any image—from a map of the world to the anatomy of a flower—and turn it into an interactive identification challenge.

How the activity is played
The activity displays your chosen image with several empty "target" spots and a bank of labels.
The Interaction: The student clicks and drags the text labels onto the corresponding pins on the image.
The Goal: Match every label to its correct location.
Instant Feedback: Depending on your settings, students see immediately if they've placed a pin correctly.
The Result: On the final screen, students can review their accuracy and submit their scores to the Leader board.

-
Timer
- None: No time limit is enforced, allowing students to complete the quiz completely at their own pace without clock pressure.
- Count up: Displays a stopwatch that tracks exactly how long it takes for a student to complete the activity.
- Count down: Sets a strict time limit (e.g., 5 minutes). The activity ends automatically if the countdown clock reaches zero.
-
Random
- Different layout each play: Randomises the positioning and layout of the items on the screen every time the activity is launched, preventing students from relying purely on spatial memory.
- Always the same layout: Keeps the visual organisation fixed in the same configuration for every single attempt.
-
Shuffle labels after move
- Don't shuffle: Keeps the choice labels in their existing positions after an item has been interacted with or moved.
- Shuffle: Automatically mixes and randomises the order of the remaining labels immediately after a user makes a move, increasing the visual tracking challenge.
- End of game
- Show answers: Allows students to review a complete breakdown of all the correct answers at the conclusion of their session.
-
