How to use the sound controller?

As of July 2022, our new sound controller is available to all of our users.

It enables the user to control the background music and sound effects separately.

This means, they can, for example, turn off the background music, but keep the sound effects of dragging, dropping, clicking, correct and incorrect feedback, etc, or they can switch those sounds off, but keep the music. Whichever combination works best for them.

So if you take a look at any activity, and click on the icon that was by now the sound on/off switch, you will get this:

In this case, both the Music and Sound effects are ON.

If you click Music, you will see this, and the music will be OFF, but the sounds will still be on:

Or you can do it the other way around, keeping the music on, but turning off the sounds:

As always, we would really appreciate any feedback you might have. We're hoping it will be a useful feature, especially as more themes will be getting background music in the upcoming period.
